Ocean String Juneau

Juneau, located in the picturesque Gastineau Channel of Southeast Alaska is a spectacular city. This Ocean String takes its design elements from the amazing natural beauty that is Alaska. The green represents the lush, vibrant vegetation found in this temperate rainforest. The blue of this String represents the ice of the Juneau icefield, which is a massive ice mass that sits atop the mountains and from which about 30 glaciers flow. The shells of this String represent the teeming and incredibly varied sea life found in this area of the world.

All hanging Ocean Strings are double sided, with both sides being made from the same materials save for an occasional variance. On this String, the sand dollars are green on one side and purple on the other. Materials also included are colored Pacific sand dollars, green sea snails, small sand dollars, knobby starfish, various sea shells, beach glass, ocean pebbles and small tiles all on a wide glacier blue string.
