Venus is the mother and her name is the Roman goddess of love and beauty. She is mesmerized by THE MILKY WAY, which is the part of our own galaxy visible to us. Mars is the father and he is named after the Roman god of war. He is always searching for the CONSTELLATIONS. These are areas of the sky in which a group of visible stars forms a perceived pattern or outline of an object. Oldest son Comet is named after the celestial bodies which consist of ice, dust and rock and orbit the sun. Comet, of course, is always searching for any current COMETS in the sky. As comets approach the sun, they heat up and release gases, forming giant long tails. Luna's name comes from the Luna of Roman mythology, who was the divine personification of the Moon. This Luna loves spotting the PLANETS just at sundown when they are the first lights in the sky. Quasar is named after the emissions that emanate from a supermassive black hole. He is in extreme awe of the ENTIRE SKY! The Sterlings spend happy family together time looking up at the stars, talking and just chilling.
